Annually we commit 2% of our annual gross sales to non-profit organizations who reflect our values and vision.
Merrill Herzog is committed to providing intelligence services without charge to organizations who combat human trafficking, with the goals of ending human suffering, bringing about awareness, holding those accountable who commit these atrocities, and deepening our own professional experience. In 2021, Merrill Herzog analysts devoted more than 500 hours to organizations in pro bono matters.
We staff and support pro bono work with the same enthusiasm and resources that we devote to our billable work. Merrill Herzog treats pro bono work equivalently with billable client work in performance reviews and for compensation purposes.
We frequently partner with clients and public interest organizations on pro bono initiatives to maximize the impact of our work.
Merrill Herzog pursues environmental sustainability in all aspects of our internal operations and client relationships. Our commitment to green initiatives results not only in a reduced environmental footprint, but also in state-of-the-art, efficient service to clients. From building design to pro bono work, and energy use to charitable giving, sustainability is part of our internal fabric.
Merrill Herzog is committed to supporting the well-being of all employees, at all levels of our organization, and we understand the importance of open and transparent communication about mental health within the communities from which we come and operate in. Our Well-being Program — one of the first such initiatives offered at a Risk Consultancy or Commercial Intelligence Firm — proactively works with our employees on issues related to mental health and substance misuse.
We engage our people through offering educational resources and creating a dialogue around the topic of well-being, with an emphasis on reducing stigma related to mental health and substance misuse. We empower people by identifying pathways to support so that those who have a need for assistance can take effective action to improve.
